Warning: This episode covers the loss of both of my parents in 2012. If you don’t want to hear about this or think it would upset you, please do skip this episode!

A few weeks ago, I introduced you to the first chapter of my book! I’m going to read chapter 6 to you today, and I knew it would be the hardest chapter to write. And it was definitely even harder to read. In case you didn’t know, in 2012, I lost both of my parents in the space of 10 months unexpectedly. This year was indescribably difficult to go through and I’m sharing my story with you in this episode. I’m hoping to release an audiobook version of my book too, so I knew I didn’t want that to be my first read through! If you’re ready for this very raw, emotional chapter, tune in now.

In this episode, we’ll dive into:

  • How writing this chapter has affected me
  • The situations that led to the loss of both of my parents in 2012
  • My reactions throughout this year
  • What losing both of them has taught me

If you enjoyed this episode, I invite you to drop a five-star rating + review with your biggest takeaway, so that other introverts can find this podcast for guidance and support through their introvert entrepreneur journey!
