On Monday, July 10, 2023, 56 strangers boarded a bus in Dallas, TX committed to declaring and embodying a message Christians are rarely known for promoting. Over the course of eight days, they traveled 3,222 miles to Washington, D.C., and back to ensure the nation knew of our commitment to nonviolence and love in a world bent toward division and violence.

Two of those individuals were interview for this podcast. They are Rev. Amanda Watson , associate rector of Community Life at Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest and Dr. Jerry Taylor, founding director of the Carl Spain Center on Race Studies and Spiritual Action.

It is an honest conversation with two people from different backgrounds exploring how we may be able to erase the division that plagues our society. Mother Amanda Watson is an Episcopalian priest and Dr. Jerry Taylor is a Church of Christ minister.
