For the 13th episode of Jackey's Hand of Horror, we conclude our re-visit of the eclipse of August 21, 2017. These are the excerpts from what Tonjia, Rachel, and I intended as the pilot for this podcast. This episode covers the experience of everyone who was at my home, which was in the path of totality and one of the longest within totality. For the Middle Finger Interview, we talk to each other, as well as friends and family, during the moments just before, during, and after totality, to get their reactions and observations about the experience. Nothing prepared us for this moment. For our Ring Finger, we review a product that we enjoyed and loved so much we would have enslaved coral for it: Eclipse Rum, a dark rum made in Barbados as they have done for generations.
