Brendan Campbell has been involved in the Australian film and television industry since the mid 1980s. First starting out as a Production Runner and progressing through all the various assistant director roles, Brendan is now a very busy Line Producer. Through 25 years as a First Assistant Director, a large part of Brendan’s working life has been spent on set, leading crews of 5 or 6 people through to a couple of hundred. He’s been involved in some of Australia’s most successful TV dramas including Flying Doctors, Underbelly, Nowhere Boys, The Time Of Our Lives and Molly. Most recently Brendan has worked on Barracuda, Glitch and Seven Types of Ambiguity. He has also worked on feature films such as Ghost Rider, Ned Kelly, and The Chronicles of Narnia. He has a wealth of experience and some great stories to share and we are very excited to welcome him to the podcast to discuss his unique perspective of what it means to be a line producer.
