This week! We’re going through our open tabs and will be discussing Cultural Discourse, The Rise of Custom Type Design, and welcoming our new chatbot overlords..

Helping us bring some outside perspective today is our special guest Georgia Frances King.

Georgia is an editor born in Melbourne and currently based in New York. A New York Times best-selling editor, she has lead international teams of award-winning journalists, moderated blockchain panels at the UN, and spoken about primal psychology at Creative Mornings. Formerly the editor of the award-winning design magazine Kinfolk, she has fused her background in lifestyle journalism with her passion for emerging technology. As Quartz’s ideas editor, she aims to bring a quality-of-life focus to the future’s most pressing topics and translate dense, academic subjects into engaging content through op-eds on qz.com. She’s fresh back in town after a trip to Dubai for the World Economic Forum’s Annual Convening of the Global Future Councils, because, of course, she sits on their quantum computing council.

Remember! We are now an ENHANCED podcast. That's right - If you listen to our podcast in Overcast or Pocket Casts, or Castro, you can get super special images, links, and chapter breaks in your player while you listen.
