Happy holidays Jam Fam! We are so excited to share with you our episode with members of ROCA, the Rockettes of Color Alumnae! Lainie Sakakura, Sally Hong and Keisa Parrish took some time to speak with us about the mission of ROCA, why is was founded and what the group is looking to do in the community. Along with all that wonderful information, Rockettes stories are told and of course a bunch of laughs.
The Mission statement for ROCA is: Rockettes of Color Alumnae (ROCA) was formed to share our unique history; support and advocate for former and current Rockettes of Color; and to identify, nurture, and mentor the next generation. We seek to share our knowledge from our experiences on the line with strength, perseverance, persistence, and unity.
