"From Polish Skinhead to Orthodox Jew" Pawel Bramson was raised as an observant Catholic and as a teenager joined a skinhead gang. He was virulently anti-Jewish, anti black, and anti Gypsy. After getting married, Bramson’s wife began investigating their families past and learned the shocking fact that they were both Jewish. Since then he has gone on a journey, which has eventually led him back to his Jewish roots. Today, Bramson who now goes by the name Pinchas, lives as an Orthodox Jew and is studying to become a schochet, ritual slaughterer. From a lunchtime lecture held on Wednesday 12 June 2013.
