Basal and squamous cell carcinomas represent the most common cancers in North America. Their management is an important issue and the focus of an article by Dr Marie-Michèle Blouin, in the Nov/Dec issue of JCMS. She joins Dr Kirk Barber for a fascinating discussion about her article, a study that Kirk believes could change and improve the way dermatologists manage basal cell carcinomas, driven by a desire to have a better cosmetic result.

Dr Marie-Michèle Blouin is a Dermato-Oncologist and Mohs Surgeon at CHU de Québec.
