Dr Elena Netchiporouk of the McGill University Health Centre joins Kirk Barber to discuss her article in the March/April issue of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery titled: "Towards Understanding of Environmental Risk Factors in Systemic Sclerosis."

As Kirk notes at the start of the interview, "It sounds like a very dry subject, but when I sat down and went through the article in detail, some really fascinating things come up," and with that, their journey through the background and findings of the article begins. It's a subject that Dr Netchiporouk describes as a passion, and it includes research that dates back to 1914.

Dr. Elena Netchiporouk is an assistant professor of dermatology at the McGill University Health Centre and the Director of Undergraduate Studies for Dermatology at McGill.
