Many people have widely misunderstood the context of faith without works is dead written by James in chapter 2. When you look at countless other verses that speak in depth about works we realize Jameses statement would be a direct contradiction to what Jesus himself and the apostles taught us.
That's not to say works or not important, they are. But the context James was using was that the work is a decision for Jesus. And today we're going to point that out.
