It's heartbreaking to say that I'm quitting coding. It's been an incredible ride, and even though I'm not formally a web developer anymore, I will always use the mindsets, systems thinking, processes & all that I've learned. I'll also never actually stop coding in case that isn't clear, but it'll be just randomly here and there and it will be very far from the main focus. It's brought me so much joy, so much learning, and I'm insanely grateful for it. Next up with https://joshmoxey.com, moving it all to squarespace (whenever I make it a priority, that is).

In this episode, I talk about putting down my developer badge, an example of sunk cost fallacy, leaving the past in the past, ego holding me back, caring what people think, avoiding external judgement, what I gained from my experience in web development, prioritizing what has the greatest impact and finally why it's time to pull the trigger and make the decision to stop working on web development.

I'll love you forever, coding. You'll always be near and dear to my heart.
