Journey to There is debuting it’s new series of Ladies Room episodes. These episodes are designed to dig deeper on issues you feel like you would want to talk about with your girlfriend. Those questions and topics you would only feel comfortable asking a really close friend.

Traci kicks off the premiere “Ladies Room” episode by hosting her long time best friend of 35 years. Tammy Jacobs and Traci met in high school and have shared life ever since.

Russ plays the best friend version of the newlywed game with Traci and Tammy to see how well they really do know each other!

Listen as they discuss how shared experiences boost bonding and why that is important.

Traci and Tammy successfully navigated working together in a highly competitive work environment. How did they do it and stay such close friends?

Traci and Tammy’s keys to success to long term friendships? Respect. Respect personally, professionally. Respect each others relationships and respect each others confidence.

Take time for each other. Challenges of technology give you an artificial sense of closeness. Make sure to keep close by spending time together that is real quality time.

“Lifelong friends not only know the person you are, but also the person you were,” explains Irene Levine, Ph.D., a psychologist and creator of The Friendship Blog. “Having that shared history makes it easier to communicate in shorthand. They understand your roots and may have been witness to other important people and events in your life.”

Create a friendship memory milestone where you can always rely on each other to share it with you during good times and bad times.
