Episode 36: In this episode, a look at Stree. This horror-comedy film starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurrana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi was a sleeper hit, telling an unusual story of an evil female spirit who kidnaps men.

Although the film used the horror-comedy genre to address themes such as patriarchy and consent in an amusing and innovative fashion – stale jokes, lazy writing and a meandering script watered down its central thesis.

This discussion comes after a round of Geeton Ka Ghanchakkar featuring two golden oldies Hindi tunes, and a Filmi Khabrein round-up of the latest Bollywood news.
