Dr. Aaron, author of The Squat Bible, and I break down the main areas being scored and tracked on Kinetisense's overhead squat module. Dr. Aaron is a PT that started Squat University, which is basically a free database he has provided covering most movement and functional movement patterns. Dr. Aaron is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, strength and conditioning coach and former/current oly-lifter. We talk about the ankles, knees, hips, core, thoracic spine, shoulders and different compensatory patterns associated with irregular overhead squat patterns. Utilizing Kinetisense, you are able to baseline the patient/client's movement in 3D and measure their changes over time. This is displayed graphically. You can also go back and watch the video of each movement months later to compare and visualize. We talk about the importance of test/re-test, different compensation patterns, mobility and stability strategies, and much more! Visit www.Kinetisense.com for more information about our 3D functional movement and movement screening technology.
