We are joined by Dr. Ed Le Cara to talk about Blood Flow Restriction Training!

This is a training/rehab technique that allows the trainer or practitioner to increase strength, performance and function at a more rapid pace. BFR also allows you to recreate heavy load just using light bands.

We will begin using Kinetisense to measure the overall functional changes that BFR has on the body. Dr. Ed explains that just because one extremity is occluded, it does not mean that extremity is the only thing benefiting from BFR training. Now, we can use Kinetisense to measure what specifically is benefiting the patient the most and what we need to recreate for each individual.
