Knit Knosh Recap
The Knit Knosh Along has begun! Here are the rules!
The great news is, even if you missed the event, you still have a chance to join in the fun with the Knit Knosh Along! All of our generous vendors have donated prizes for the KAL.
Here’s how it will work:
The KAL will run from September 18 to November 1, 2016.
During that period, you can earn points for the KAL in the following way:
Cast on new project with yarn from MJ Yarns, Knerd , Skeindalous or Peepaloo Fields (10 points).
Knit something with the samples from the event! There are some great ideas on Instagram if you look at #knitknosh on Instagram or my (5 points)
FINISH a project knit with yarn from one of the sponsor companies (25 points) sorry, the samples don’t count for this category, but WIPs do!
Use a Modular Modular project bag to with a newly cast on project (10 points)
Knit a Dazzle Hat (5 points but you can double dip and count this if you use yarn from one of the of the yarn companies, or your samples). Katy should have kits on her Etsy shop. It’s an ADORABLE hat
Post photos of your project on Instagram and tag it #knitknosh (1 point per photo)
Post photos of ANY project in your project bag from Knit Knosh, tag it #knitknosh (1 point per photo)
So here are some an examples… if I cast on a Dazzle hat (5 points) with some MJ Yarn (10 points), and use my Modular Modular bag (10 points), finish it by November 1 (25 points) and post 3 photos of it, tagged #knitknosh, that would be 53 points!
If I cast on a project using my Knit Knosh samples (5 points), and posted 4 pictures of it on Instagram, tagged #knitnosh, that would be 9 points!
I’ll open a KAL Finish Line thread where you can post your progress and keep track of your points !
I’ll post photos of the prizes in the chat thread this week!
I hope this will be a lot of fun!!
Thank yous!
I thank a bunch of awesome people, including Sara of The Knitting Type video podcast (for my beautiful new bracelet), Jen from the Color and Life video podcast for my new drop spindle (!!!!) and Greg from Unraveling with Greg and Joey for sending me a copy of his Amplitude pattern.
