Rob recalls his experiences working in Madison County, AL during the tornado outbreak on April 27th, 2011. This interview was recorded in 2011, about a month after the storms hit. It was done using a handheld recorder with the intention of producing a written account, so the audio quality is not great.

Rob mentioned that meteorologist Gary Dobbs was injured during the storm while broadcasting live from his home. You can find the full story of that incident here:
