Dr. Hartman is a professor of Asian religions at the University of Wyoming and specializes in Buddhism. In this Special Edition episode, we discuss what influenced George Lucas when creating Star Wars including the influences from Joseph Campbell, and Buddhism and Daoism; and how these influences have transcended Lucas, becoming an inherent part of the films, tv shows, books, and other Star Wars content.
