A class of seventh-graders in Guelph, Ontario is asked to keep audio diaries during the COVID-19 lockdown as a way of staying in touch. KuaranTEEN is the audio journal of 13-year-old Sam Kovalski who in January 2021 notices that her friend Cyrus is fading away. Unsettled by his inexplicable absence, Sam fears that by the time the lockdown is over, Cyrus would have disappeared altogether and might be beyond help. Would she be able to save him if no one believes her something is amiss?
