Peace and hair grease Lab Scientists, welcome back. Episode 10 is our first of the new year and it couldn’t feel better to announce that we are officially a WEEKLY podcast :). If you haven’t already, subscribe via iTunes, SoundCloud, or Player.FM so you don’t miss out. This week we talk about MIDI sequencing tips and how to make sure your drums actually groove. We also discuss the new Akai MPC line, followed by throwing some light shade to its advertising rollout in our brand new rants segment. We’re also going over writing away from your gear, and a whole lot more so sit back and enjoy.

If you haven’t already, be sure to join our mailing list. Just for joining you’ll get a copy of my Uptown Drums Sample Kit, but also we’re planning the first of our Lab Science meet ups and live episodes on both coasts, and would love to keep you posted so we can invite you out and more importantly so we can ask you directly about the topics you’d like covered. Some cool brands and brains will be in the building so don’t miss out, join the mailing list and come meet some likeminded folks.

Be sure to follow the blog at labsciencepodcast.com, we’ve got a great new article featuring tips learned from touring with RTJ, some great mixing resources and a lot more. Excited to have you on board, let’s get to the show.
