Retired Police Officer Terri Lincoln was the first female helicopter pilot in the history of the Los Angeles Police Department. While working as a secretary back in the 80’s, she heard a LAPD recruiting commercial mentioning the opportunity to become a helicopter pilot. Terri believed she could do it, so she did it.
