On to Week 3 of the #LeadWithYourBrandChallenge! Each week in January, Jayzen is breaking down the Lead With Your Brand system into its five steps. Every Tuesday, listen to the podcast & learn about the next step to build your personal brand and help you toward your next Career Breakthrough! There are even free downloadable worksheets with each step to help you in the process.

Step Three: Refine Who You Want To Be

Now it’s time to turn up the volume to be the best you you can be. Take those 5 to 8 brand attributes that you came up with in the last step. Go through the McDonald’s drive-through and SUPERSIZE your words and define those attributes as your SUPERPOWERS. Take those words and switch them from being commodity descriptors that everyone uses and make them uniquely you.

Don’t just say, “I’m a good presenter.” Say, “I’m a showman!” It’s not, “hey I’m well networked and have great relationships with people.” it’s, “I’m a super connector!” Why just be analytical when you can be a Data Guru? If you are organized, are you really a Precision Executor? If you are innovative, are you really a First-Mover who is the first to jump onto new ideas and trends? These super-charged ownable words now become your word bank for Linkedin, annual reviews, job applications, how you talk about yourself and how you present your ideas.

Jayzen is excited to welcome Mauricio Simbeck to the show. Mauricio is the CEO of Milagros de Mexico, a retail chain that provides health and wellness products to the Latino Community and Milagros Medical, a retail medical concept owned by MdM offering family practice and urgent care services.
