Malika Blessing hails from Oakland, CA, and holds a master's degree in Theater Arts from Grambling State University. She’s also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Her stellar acting performances on screen and on stage, coupled with her unparalleled work behind the scenes with some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names, make her a valuable asset in this field. She has worked with a myriad of superstars in Hollywood as an actress, production
manager, and producer. Celebrities include Jackee Harry, Loretta Devine, Kenny Lattimore, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jennifer Holliday, Dawnn Lewis, Iona Morris, Kelly Price, Ledisi, Ella Joyce, Elise Neal, Christian Keyes, Ernest Thomas, and Keith Washington.
Malika’s body of work is extensive and includes her starring alongside Loretta Devine in Don B. Welch’s, “The Lost Souls Cafe"on TV One; she was the lead in the horror film, “Grim Weaver” available on Amazon Prime; starred in “Love on Two-Way Street” with Vanessa Williams and Dorien Wilson; was nominated for a 2017 NAACP Theater Award for her role in Scherrie Payne’s “A Lady in Waiting.”; guest starred in the hit web series, “I Hate My Co-Worker,”produced by Vintage City Entertainment where she won Best Comedic Actress at the LAWeb Festival; and won as Best Dramatic Actress in Tammi's “Bag Lady” web series.
Malika is also a producer for the one man show, Michael Colyar's “Momma” and the NAACP award-winning one-woman show, Tammi's, “Bag Lady.” She guest starred on Tyler Perry’s, “The Haves and The Have Nots on the Own Network. Besides all these accolades, she will
