This document contains a sample interview and some example Artist statements for you to look at to get an idea of how different artists use language. I have also included an activity where you can look at some examples of expressions and idioms when talking about your work. I'll also talk a little about how to write in the Active voice compared to the passive voice (00:28:00) and in the first person.
