The Art of Conversation is a series of short 5-10 minutes episodes where I answer conversation topics from the Conversation Starters World website:Everything I say is unplanned so you'll hear a native speaker just doing their thing! This is to help give you some ideas about how a native speaker might answer questions. I use conversation starters very often in my 1:1 English conversation classes with my students. Each week I'll try to include in my natural speech different examples of grammar points, expressions and idioms. Whatever comes out at the time! In this episode I'll answer three questions:What is something you do every day without fail?Would you rather lose the ability to speak or the ability to read?Somewhere you would recommend others to go in your country. The reading app I talked about is called ReadLang check it out if you want to find something to read with translations and links to WordReference. The other app I'm big on at the moment is Lyrics Training for listening to songs. Check them both out if you're interested. Look out for these expressions in today's episode: Without out fail: something you do often Read between the lines: look for or discover a meaning that is implied rather than explicitly stated. For example, someone's body language might indicate they are angry without them saying it or writing it. You can find this episode on our YouTube channel.
