Treatment for Presbyopia in Bangalore | Nelivigi Eye Hospital

Presbyopia is an age-related vision condition that affects the eye's ability to focus on near objects. It occurs gradually as a natural part of the aging process, typically becoming noticeable around the age of 40. Presbyopia is caused by a loss of flexibility in the eye's lens, making it more difficult for the eye to change focus from distant objects to close-up objects.

The lens of the eye is responsible for adjusting its shape to focus light onto the retina, which enables clear vision at different distances. When we are young, the lens is flexible, allowing us to easily accommodate and focus on objects at varying distances. However, as we age, the lens gradually becomes less flexible, and its ability to change shape diminishes.

If you have concerns about your vision, make sure to consult an ophthalmologist for a comprehensive eye examination.
