Keaton plays a take on the American yuppie: a successful and workaholic no-nonsense businesswoman who has the surprise of her life when she is made to be the caretaker of a 6-month-old baby belonging to her recently deceased and estranged cousin that as stipulated in her cousin’s will who she hasn’t seen in years. So the big question we want to answer about this movie is: CAN YOU INHERIT A BABY? HINT: kind of. We discuss Dana’s unexpected choice of guardian to her 13-year-old son when she realized she would sadly lose her battle to lung cancer 2 years after Christopher’s death.
