In this episode, Talar and I chat about the inspiration, writing process and publication of her children's book, Ralphy’s Rules for Living the Good Life. Talar wrote Ralphy’s Rules to donate a portion of the proceeds to Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (“SOAR”), an organization dear to her heart.

Talar Herculian Coursey is a lawyer by day and a philanthropist by night.

She has served as General Counsel for Vista Ford Lincoln in Woodland Hills and Oxnard, California since 2011. Before that, she was a file clerk, associate and partner at the national labor and employment law firm Fisher Phillips LLP.

Talar is also a co-author of the Amazon bestselling book #Networked. You can grab a copy here.

Talar has served as the president of the Salt Lake City Chapter for the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (“SOAR”) since 2015. SOAR, founded in 2005, supports orphanages in Syria, Lebanon and Armenia. To date, Talar has raised over $50,000 for the orphanages in Lebanon in memory of her father, Mardig Herculian.

In addition to being a mother, wife, lawyer and philanthropist, Talar is also a runner, yogi and a Jesus, Ekhart Tolle, Brene Brown and Glennon Doyle groupie.
