E16: The Woman's School
Manage episode 418131090 series 3574100
As women, what we offer is so unique, but we have been wired to be otherwise. We have been wired to only do what we’re supposed to be doing, and we forget we’re here in this world to become who we’re created to be. Many of us have not been taught how to dream, value self-worth, and truly live. But it’s never too late. Today, let’s begin the journey of training ourselves to be the person we’re meant to be!
In this episode, January Donovan, self-worth strategist, bestselling author, and founder of The Woman School, talks about the importance of women training themselves to become the women they’re meant to be.
With over 20 years of experience training women, January believes that when you invest in training yourself, you can save yourself from a lot of collateral damage in your life (whether bad marriages, bad relationships, eating disorders, anxiety, stress, etc.)
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
- What they teach at The Woman School
- How comparison and competition are wired into our brains
- Investing in training yourself all the time
- How to break the habit of comparing yourself with others
- How to start dreaming again
- The importance of building habits of self-care and self-love
