When you think about writing and the power of storytelling what comes to mind? Well, for KB Brookins we were able to take a deep dive into their mind in this interview. We discuss social change, focus on marginalized communities and how it all ties into the world of writing. We also take a chance to look into the challenges we face as writers/poets who want to push the importance of advocacy to said groups while balancing the creativity nonfiction narratives need to be engaging for the reader.
