Y’all…
This episode bookends with gratitude but it should probably also be subtitled : Hormones are Assholes. Some days are tougher than others to keep your zen peaceful state than others.

So—it’s obvious how gratitude helps in difficult times, but did y’all know it’s also proven science?

Dr. Joe Dispenza has many books and talks on “How the brain fires is how the brain wires” In order to change your neural pathways you have to learn different ways of thinking!

How do we cultivate an #attitudeofgratitude ?

Go for a walk and look for appreciation in everything around you. Go general.: “I’m grateful for the air in my lungs, a roof over my head, that beautiful tree that also provides oxygen, the unconditional love from my dog/cat, etc…

Like I said…hormones are assholes. Try to keep track of when they may flare up!

Coach Dena refers to the #75MediumChallenge : https://www.hiit10fitness.com/what-is-the-75medium-challenge

Y’all are welcome to do it with us!

Remember: “I need MYSELF to calm me down and make me feel loved.” NOT someone else to calm me down and love me (like we may have been taught). THIS is the work!

Gabby Bernstein’s podcast was mentioned! She’s wonderful and you can also find her on podcast platforms!

Our #subtlechangeprofoundimpact for this week is (we have a few!):

If you’re feeling triggered and want to respond, wait until a point when you’re not so emotional so the situation doesn’t escalate further. Walk away if you have to. Use ye olde “I have to pee!” trick!

Your friends may or may not come on this healing journey with you—that’s okay. We wish we could pull everyone with us, for sure, but be brave enough to keep going.

If you have the calmer conversation later and this person still isn’t capable of rising to the occasion, walk away again. Sometimes having these conversations are actually more harmful to YOU because you’re again being gaslit/denied/called names, etc. Protect yo’ peace.

Remember: Don’t allow anyone to take you out of your character.

Avoid using definitive statements like “You ALWAYS”, “I TOLD you,”, etc. Focus on the problem, not defendin
