When you started your career is there is something you really wanted to do, but for a variety of reasons, life took you away from it?
Ryan Kulp shares why he put his dreams of being a musician on pause for 7 years after getting swept up in the world of tech startups and digital marketing.
Now that he doesn’t have to worry about money that much anymore, he’s refocusing his attention on his original passion for music.
I believe he’s secret to his success in the tech sector has been his ability to promote himself. He shares a couple of very creative ways for putting yourself out there like:
- Landing his first job at a startup by writing a self-published book.
- Kicking off his first self-employment opportunity by reaching out startup founders with wacky marketing ideas. He ended up increasing his income by 5x using this approach within 90 days of leaving his job!
- Taking a startup founder to dinner and then ended up buying his company by the end of it, which turned into his current business, Fomo. Last month he made $53,000 in revenue!
