Up to seven times?” (22) Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. (マタイ 18:21-22 JCB) (21)その時、ペテロがイエスのそばに来て尋ねました。「先生。人が私に罪を犯した場合、何回まで赦してやればいいでしょうか。七回でしょうか。」(22)イエスはお答えになりました。「いや、七回を七十倍するまでです。 My question: “Hey, What Is Forgiveness Anyway…? 自分の質問：「赦しってなに？」 -to dismiss or release from one’s presence.　 誰かの存在から退くまたは離れる -let go 手放す -to send away 送り出す -to give up　 諦める -to release from legal and moral obligation　 法律・権利を手放す -to move away from … = a separation from　 離れる・離す Jesus’ story is our answer to 'how’?　 イエスのストーリーが「どうやるか」の答え (Matthew 18:23-24 NIV) (23)“Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. (24)As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him. (マタイ 28:23-24 ) (23)神の国は、帳じりをきちんと合わせようとした王にたとえることができます。(24) 清算が始まってまもなく、王から一万タラント（一タラントは六千デナリに相当。一デナリは当時の一日分の賃金）というばく大な借金をしていた男が引き立てられて来ました。 1st guy - Released from 10,000 talents Ⅰ人目 - 10,000タラントから離れた (a talent = 90kg gold = $40,000) = 4,000,000 Yen　 （1タラント＝90キロの金塊＝400万円） (10,000 talents @ $40,000 = $100,000,000) = 10,000,000,000 Yen　 10,000タラント＝１００億円 2nd guy - NOT released from 100 denarii　 2人目 = 100デナリを離さなかった (a denari is a workers pay = $100 )　 （Ⅰデナリは日給＝Ⅰ万円） 100 denari @ $100 = $10,000 = 1,000,000 yen　 100デナリ＠Ⅰ万円＝100万円 The master forgave a billion yen　 主人は１００億円をチャラにしてくれた The one receiving that freedom would not forgive a million yen.　 チャラにしてもらったのに100万円をチャラにしなかった He received in 1,000 thousand times more than what he was ready to release out. 千倍の物をチャラにしてもらったのに、自分はしなかった “What a jerk!” 最低な男! (Matthew 18:31-35 NIV) (31)When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened. (32) “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. (33) Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ (34) In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
