(38) The one who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him. (ヨハネ 7:37-38 JCB) 祭りの最後の一番大切な日に、イエスは大声で群衆に語りかけました。「だれでも、渇いているなら、わたしのところへ来て飲みなさい。(38)わたしを信じれば、心の奥底からいのちの水の川が流れ出ると、聖書に語られているとおりです。」 (John 13:4-5,12-15 NIV) so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. (5) After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. (12) When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. (13) “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. (14) Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. (15) I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. (5) It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. (1 コリント 13:4-5 ALIVE訳) 愛はきわめて辛抱強く、親切。 愛は決してねたまず、自慢をせず、見下さない。(5)愛はうぬぼれず、自分の利益を求めず、短気にならない。 愛は自分のやり方を押し通そうとはせず、いらいらすることも無ければ、腹を立てることも無い。 人に恨みをいだかず、被害者意識をもたない。 3.Love is consistent 愛は変わらない (1 Corinthians 13:6-7 NIV) Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. (7) It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 コリント 13:6-7 ALIVE訳) 過ちを喜ばず、真理を喜ぶ。(7)愛は人に見切りをつけることがない。 愛はどんな時も希望を捨てず、あきらめず、最善を信じる。 4.Love initiates - He first loved us 愛は最初に動く – 神様が最初に私たちを愛してくれた Love starts a reaction, then a movement. 愛はリアクションを起こし、ムーブメントを起こす (Romans 5:5 NIV) And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. (ローマ 5:5 JCB) この希望は失望に終わることはありません。それは、神が聖霊を与えてくださり、その聖霊が私たちの心に神の愛を満たしてくださっているからです。 (John 3:16 NIV) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (ヨハネ 3:16 ALIVE訳) 実に神は、一人子をさえ惜しまず与えるほどに、世の人間を愛してくれた。 つまり、神の一人子を信じる者が、だれ一人滅びず、永遠の命を得るためだ！！！
