In today’s episode, we talk about the very difficult and emotional subject of mental health and suicide. Heath dives over a decade into his past where he experienced around a dozen suicides on the French King Bridge in western Massachusetts. This is the most candid and graphic discussion about his experiences that Heath has ever done on any media form.

All of this has bubble back up because of it being mental health awareness month as well as the project of installing suicide prevention barriers on this bridge finally being completed in October 2023.

Being present at this place again brought forward a whole host of memories out of the dark depths, and for the sake of putting it all behind us, Heath wanted to put an exclamation point on this era once and for all, by detailing the interconnectedness between him and the site, as well as those who helped accomplish this feat by their own inexorable connectedness through tragedy.
