Bay Area photographer Jack Gescheidt has been photographing naked people draped among some of the Northern California Bay Area region's most gorgeous trees as part of a nature advocacy project he calls Tree Spirit Project.He is famous for his installations of hundreds of nude people in public spaces, as well as his exquisitely elegant nature images, which are aesthetically beautiful and deeply politically. All the people in the photographs are volunteers.This conversation with Jack includes the obvious, yet unasked questions, as well as a moment of transformation when Jack dives deep into his soul and communicates his vision for the future. This is both fun and lively as well as deep, provocative and laced with themes of faith and hope.
