We DO CARE !. We want to accepted. We want to be "a part of". We want to be wanted. We want to be loved. When we tell ourselves these little lies we create a shield around us that limits our experiences and cuts us off from others. Not that we should be driven by our desire to be accepted, but to recognize that there is a difference between being driven by the opinion of others and wanting to be wanted.
