I hear this frequently and it triggers the hell out of me. You know why? Because I used to say it all the time. It's not true of course, this is just your Ego talking. Yes the Ego, the curse of consciousnesses. This phrase is just a way of your Ego explaining the truth that you are actually conveying which is, "I'm feel weak and vulnerable, and I beat myself up all the fucking time, so please don't tell me truth because my Ego can't handle it".
