The Atlanta Braves once again received a strong performance from a starter only to find runs hard to come by. Chris Sale tied his season-high with 10 strikeouts in seven innings of two-run ball, but that was enough for the Washington Nationals to claim a 2-1 victory on Friday at Nationals Park.

Grant McAuley and Jake Mastroianni of LockedOn Braves break down the strong pitching and lack of offense that once again haunted the Braves in a close game, the continued great work of Sale this season, the continued frustrations with runners in scoring position for Atlanta, and preview Game 3 of the series on Saturday as Charlie Morton makes the start.
