For the second year in a row, the Boston Bruins have blown a 3-1 series lead. No team in NHL, NBA, or MLB history has done this in consecutive years.

Head coach Jim Montgomery directly called out David Pastrnak after a Game 6 loss, saying "Your best players need to be your best players this time of year." While he's not wrong, the Bruins also came out incredibly flat and have been outshot 23-3 in the first period over the past two games. That motivation needs to come from the top, putting the coach and captain Brad Marchand in the spotlight.

The team as a whole needs to step up to avoid a disastrous conclusion to the season - if they don't, the consequences could be job ending or core shaking.
