The Texas Rangers shut out the Miami Marlins for the second day in a row, winning the final game 6-0 to take this three-game series in Miami.

Andrew Heaney put on a pitching clinic, with six innings of beautiful four-hit shutout baseball, striking out seven Marlins and walking none. Jacob Lat, David Robertson and Grant Anderson finished off the shutout from there.

The World Champion Rangers (29-30) got to Marlins starter Trevor Rogers early, starting the game off with four straight hits in a three-run first inning, then adding one more in the sixth and two in the ninth off Burch Smith.

Adolis Garcia had two hits and two RBI's, including his 13th home run to lead the Rangers' assault. Josh Smith added two hits to finish off a red-hot series at the plate.

No Marlins player had more than one hit for the second straight game.

The Marlins (21-39) are off tomorrow. They welcome in the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday for a quick two-game series. Jesus Luzardo, who has been great lately, will start the opener for Miami.
