After, the Panthers tilted the ice putting up 31 shots in the second period, a franchise record and the most in a period by any team this season. That included three goals in 3:10 to break it open. Panthers power play didn't score but had 17 shots on 6 opportunities. The Panthers 5-on-5 scoring has been on fire lately as they now finish their home schedule with the same amount of wins as on the road with 26. Maurice took a gamble with playing Verhaeghe in one regular season game before the postseason, and it paid off with him getting his 34th of the season. Sam Reinhart got two goals on the night to finish the regular season with 57 goals. The two discuss their early impressions of the series and when they think game 1 will happen.
