The Dallas Stars fall to the Colorado Avalanche 5-1 in another poor performance recently. The brutal stretch finds the Stars 1-3-3 in their last 7 games and now their Central Division lead has evaporated. On the bright side, the Stars have 22 games remaining and the race for the division is still on even though it feels like the sky is falling down. Part of the struggles in February has been the execution. The Stars have scored 13 goals in their last 7 games which is way off pace for their season average. They have out-chanced many of their opponents, but guys like Roope Hintz, Jason Robertson, Joe Pavelski and more are having trouble finding the net.
