We go down the rabbit hole and are unsure if we ever come out by the end of this episode. Cleveland hip hop artist Pico the Guy Tho is an absolute blast - his storytelling and amazing dry humor is a combo that keeps us on our toes this whole episode. With him, his accomplice and longtime friend, manager, you name it, Trikki D - creator of Cleveland clothing line that has been sported by many on stage, $herby Gang (who is working on a new collab with Shway Papers, more on that soon!).
This chat contains pretty much everything you can think of - from historical hip hop beef to musicals and a dash of Country Boy Twang. Pico also looks back on some of his favorite onstage antics he has done in the past, his favorite venues to perform at and some killer collaborations he's been working on with other Cleveland creatives.
Pico has been cooking up an album that will be dropping later this summer called "The Deep End", but check out his latest single "Proper" on all platforms including a music video on YouTube, and follow him on Instagram to get hip to the latest and greatest.
Also huge shoutout to $herby Gang, this brand is so meaningful to us and the Cleveland music and arts scene. Check out their website and Instagram to see the latest drops, always something new and different!
SONGS PERFORMED:
Big Steppin'
Camron (ft. Poohy)
Pico Suave
