Very often people first create the product or service and then finding marketing that fits the product. That is backwards. You need to create products that fit your marketing. You already have a particular brand image. People have a perception of you already. That will buy from you as long as you are selling products in line with their perception. Should you want to sell something else then you will lose their trust. Why? Because the product doesn't fit the marketing.
