Jesus' brother, James, writes, in 1:21, "receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls." As the precious bride of Christ, we receive from Him the implanted Word, which is God. As a man unites with a women, and she conceives and bears a human child, we unite with Jesus, receive the Word and bear fruit to the Father.
