The underrepresentation of women has cast a shadow on our pursuit of optimal health outcomes. As the field of Lifestyle Medicine gains prominence, it's high time we acknowledge and tackle these issues.

In this in-depth conversation with Dr.John, we talked about his journey in Lifestyle Medicine and debunked myths about women's health. We also discussed how lifestyle choices can impact dating and relationships, highlighting the link between our well-being and our romantic lives.

Our guest, Dr. John, embarked on a unique path that led him from a devout Irish Catholic upbringing to becoming a passionate advocate for science and education. He found his way to the bustling streets of New York City, earned an MD through the Harvard/MIT joint program, and ventured into the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California San Francisco.

His journey took an exciting turn when he crossed paths with Dr. Michelle Tollefson at an ACLM conference, leading to the formation of the Women's Health Member Interest Group, which has grown to nearly 900 members. Dr. John's current passion lies in exploring the foundational drivers of health, with a particular focus on the critical roles of Sleep and Behavioral Medicine.
