Why is it that we have such a hard time celebrating ourselves?

As we broadcast this episode, this is the last episode of this year. I want to talk about how to celebrate ourselves.

I bet there are so many things you showed up for this year. Maybe you settled in a new country and continued to show up at your kid’s practices and multiple birthday parties and school events while preparing the whole move, maybe you settled up a new home ( and possibly multiple homes), unpacked a full container, started a new project and found something that was meaningful for you.

There's a huge lack of celebration going around, not feeling good about our daily accomplishments, celebrating what we've done - the big or small, feeling like what we do isn’t good enough or worthy enough. Acknowledging all that we have put our hearts on the line for all the things we tried and created this year.

In this episode, we’ll talk about why it’s important to celebrate and how to build the muscle to do it. But first, let’s consider why we often don’t celebrate our accomplishments.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • Why we don’t celebrate ourselves often
  • The 4 benefits to celebrating your wins & how doing this can help you achieve your goals

Because reaching your goals requires growth, transformation, and sometimes doing things people might not like.

“To be yourself in a world that’s constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest acconplishment.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

When you have your own back no matter what, when you manage to do that, nothing can stop you. It’s one of the key ingredients to success that you master through the https://girafecoaching.com/unlock-your-full-potential/ (join the Girafe Coaching newsletter to learn more about upcoming programs here).

When you have your own back, you don’t let anything or anyone derail you.

What I’d like you to do this week is acknowledge yourself enough.

What are your best creations this year? How do you acknowledge yourself for that?

Celebrate the accomplishments, big and small.
