Growing up in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada, Daren Mazzone understood the value of following the rules. This made him a good student.
He loved science and math. Loved sports and imagine this–loved hockey.
Science nerd and athlete gave him a unique perspective with his classmates. Always inquisitive and loved to learn, Daren dabbled with photography and art in high school making for a diverse experience. It also gave him a good understanding of different types of people.
When time to decide his college career he knew science would be a major part. Not until “university”, as they call it in Canada, did Daren know that being a doctor would be his calling.
University of Western Ontario was his school in London, Ontario. Bachelor of Science in cellular biology taught him fundamentals, which led him to Doctor of Chiropractic.
Cleaning golf balls at the driving range was one of his first jobs, which he loved, then on to the amusement park, and then to General Motors in the summers. Daren learned the benefits of hard work which served him well in his career.
Dad was a patient with a chiropractor which was Daren’s introduction to the potential of his career. The more he learned about chiropractic the more he liked it. One of his friends was in the industry and his love of sports helped him decide to enter the business.
Chiropractic is focused on helping the body be as functional as possible and helping the body heal itself. Holistic health is the core of Daren’s belief system. The back is the gateway to health as the central nervous system affects everything in the body, the spine is foundational to good health.
Come hear the story of a Canadian who migrated south for warmer weather and an opportunity to grow.
Funny guy, very pleasant human being (aren’t all Canadians?), but also really good at his craft.
