Have you ever wondered when is the right time to do your (daily) rituals? Are you always searching for a moment when your kids are asleep or playing? Rituals can be such an important part of the day, but it’s not always easy to find alone time for it. Stop searching and start creating moments to involve your kids in rituals!

involve your kids in rituals

I’ve talked about rituals a lot and why they are so important. Very often though I hear mothers mentioning that they don’t have time to do them. They’re so busy with the kids that they can’t find the time. I dare you to prove the opposite. It’s all about making it a priority and – the most important part – involve your kids in rituals! We’re not looking for perfection, we’re looking for realistic rituals. If you’re a recovering perfectionist like me, you might want to check out this blog post first: Daily Dose of Mom Guilt and how to Release it

When it comes to rituals, there’s no right or wrong. The more flexible you are, the more you and your children will enjoy it. Don’t worry about picture perfect gatherings, just do what your heart tells you to do and let your children be your teacher, always.

IN THIS EPISODE:
  • The first thing to do to involve your children in rituals [3:25]
  • The second step to create happy and lasting rituals [4:02]
  • When I, as a recovering perfectionist, changed the way I looked at rituals [5:52]
  • How I use oracle cards to keep them engaged [8:14]
  • Rituals from a place of love [9:52]
  • How to reverse society’s fear-based rituals [10:09]
  • The balance between boundaries and freedom [13:33]
  • Why terrible twos is a terrible term [14:24]
  • Rituals to help with their confused and overwhelmed minds [16:36]
